Exercise 12 - 3C's Graphics Design

Lady Justice is most often depicted with a set of scales typically suspended from one hand, upon which she measures the strengths of a case's support and opposition.
The scales represent the weighing of evidence, and the scales lack a foundation in order to signify that evidence should stand on its own. The Blindfold symbolizes the impartial and indiscriminate nature of law and justice. Be it rich or poor, man or woman, elder or child, Lady Justice makes sure that no one is denied justice and hence upholds the Law and Justice in the society. The sword represents punishment, signifying that justice can be swift and final. She holds the sword below the scales to show that evidence weighted on its merit in a court of law come before punishment.
